Sea Gale (Blowing over a previously calm sea)

Kelpies are waterliving mammals much like dolphins living in the seas off the coast of Equestria. They were originally a largely neolithic civilization that never developed further due to the lack of good defensive positions underwater to ward off raiders and difficulties with any kind of metalworking underwater. That is until they in the modern age got into contact with ponie civilization.
Conservative and clannish Kelpies are nevertheless fascinated with all things ponies. In some cases society has not fully adapted to the rapid changes that technology has brought with it.

Sea Gale was a Kelpie rescued from horrible slavery under a changeling part of the Syndicate. Like many of her kind her name is very long and intricate and impossible to pronounce in her native language for someone lacking Kelpie vocal cords. Events have taken a serious toll on her memory and now she's searching for the answer to who she was.
